The Intake Coordinator coordinates the referral, intake, and assessment process for Child Welfare Clinical Services. As the Intake Coordinator, you will oversee the administration of intake assessment tools in order to determine service needs and facilitate appropriate service linkage and provision for program participants. The Intake Coordinator also engages with internal program staff and community partners to increase the visibility and accessibility of services to eligible youth and families.
What you'll do as Youth Services Program Supervisor:
- Manage program inquiries and referrals for behavioral health services, including scheduling intake appointments.
- Conduct mental health assessment interviews and administer other screening and assessment tools, and make recommendations for services.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to understand service needs and ensure program participants are effectively linked with appropriate services.
- Provide case coordination and linkage with internal programs and community resources to ensure family needs are met; participate in clinical team staffings as needed.
- Complete required program documentation and billing.
- Provide on-site social, emotional, and behavioral support to caregivers as appropriate.
- Provide supervision for Master's level interns.
- Participate in community collaboration meetings to increase program visibility and community integration.
Who you are:
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a related field required; Master's Degree strongly preferred.
- Clinical licensure (LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT) preferred.
- Three years' related experience working with youth and families required.
- The ability to communicate in both English and Spanish a plus but not required.
- You are service-oriented and collaborative.
- You have a strong attention to detail and are able to effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects.
- You are a warm and friendly communicator who easily builds rapport and demonstrates a non-judgmental attitude andpositive regard towards program participants.
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and daily access to reliable transportation required.
The details:
- Location: Hybrid (in-office at least 1x/week). Home office located at5958 S. Marshfield Ave. Some community-based meetings.
- Schedule: Full-time, salaried; general business hours.
- Staff are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and to submit proof of their vaccination status before their start date unless they have an agency approved medical or religious exemption.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary:Range starts at $47,000 for unlicensed candidates and $53,000 for candidates with LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT. Bilingual candidates may receive additional compensation if applicable for program needs and population served.

- Winter Break: The agency is closed between Christmas Day and New Year's Day. This paid break allows staff to spend time with their families around the holidays without using their accrued time off balances.
- Student Loan Forgiveness: Children's Home & Aid is an approved agency for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).
