Job description

This position is Hybrid and eligible for telework up to "three (3)" days a week, in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy, and will be required to report to the office as needed/required. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.

Under the direction of the Staff Service Manager l, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst independently performs the more varied and complex analytical activities in conjunction with California Department of Social Services (CDSS) and third party WC claims administrators(TPAs) in managing worker's compensation (WC) claims and provides contracted services to the CDSS in performing independent oversight, coordination and management of the delivery of workers compensation benefits for CDSS' In-Home Supportive Services, CalWorks and CalFresh programs.
This position is designated under the Conflict of Interest Code. The position is responsible for making or participating in the making of governmental decisions that may potentially have a material effect on personal financial interests. The appointee is required to complete Form 700 within 30 days of appointment.
