State Fund’s Enterprise Procurement unit has an exciting opening for a Senior Contract Analyst. In this role, you’ll take the lead in managing all phases of our contracting process, overseeing initiatives such as cloud-based systems, facilities contracts, training agreements, and claims services.

• Procure products and services critical to our success while ensuring top quality and overall value
• Lead contract negotiations, mitigating potential security and privacy risk
• Collaborate closely with key stakeholders across the organization
• Effectively communicate the contracting process to senior leadership and executive team.

Our Procurement team operates out of designated offices in Pleasanton and Sacramento, with occasional travel required to various sites and locations.

Telework may be available and is subject to change based on State Fund guidelines and business needs. The successful candidates must reside in California upon appointment.

• Ability to effectively lead and facilitate group discussion in team settings
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional interpersonal, organizational and communications skills
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting contracts, coupled with exceptional negotiation skills
• Experience managing conflict tactfully and prioritizing competing deadlines
• Familiarity with Project Management principles and discretion in handling sensitive information
• Ability to influence and persuade stakeholders, along with multitasking and organizational competency
• Consistent attendance and availability during working hours
• Adaptable to manage ongoing or unforeseen projects as required

Additional Skills that would be advantageous include:

• Proficiency with Oracle Purchasing and SAP Ariba Strategic Sourcing Suite
• Practical knowledge of third-party risk management programs
• Background in business, law, journalism or related fields

SALARY: $5,684 - $7,114 per month depending on experience.
