Funko, purveyors of POP! Culture, are experiencing explosive growth and are in search for a highly qualified person to help ensure we are compliant with our SOX obligations. Candidate will ensure we are following our existing ITGCs and help develop new controls where needed. The SOX Compliance Manager will conduct regular User Access Reviews with management to ensure access is appropriate and accurate.
It’s all fun and games here at Funko, it’s in the name; however, this role will ensure that despite our desire to push the envelope of innovation our controls are appropriate, and we follow our defined processes and procedures. You would also help drive quarterly auditing, testing and reporting activities, working with internal and external. business partners You will work in partnership with other Technology Leaders to ensure new systems are compliant and have proper ITGCs in-place.
What You’ll Do
- Work with Funko Technology Teams to successfully develop, implement, maintain, monitor, and report on all ITGCs
- Contribute to the administration and maintenance of our Risk Management Platforms and Tools. Ensuring requests from external auditors are handled timely and appropriately
- Conduct regular User Access Reviews for in-scope SOX Systems and ensure access is appropriate and that reviews are complete and accurate
- Assist in responding to request for evidence needed by internal and external teams
- Partner with Business teams and cross-functional Technology teams to help remediate compliance-related issues, helping determine whether a technology base solution is appropriate or help implement a business process control
- Create compliance program status reports for leadership to understand gaps, risks, and changes to compliance activities
- Oversee third-party contractors working on compliance programs, governance projects and other SOX activities
- Establish regular communications to all staff and management talk about best-practices and updates to procedures
- Coordinate technical walkthroughs with internal and external auditors for systems that are in-scope or could be scoped in
- Provide regular training to Technology team members making them aware of changes or advancement of our ITGCs
- Gather, maintain and review SOC1 reports received from outside sources, maintain a library of all supporting documents and reports
- Contribute to the Technology team’s Knowledge Base platform to make sure ITGCs are well documented and are concise
- Partner with Data Protection team to take into account all other Compliance standards, PII, PCI, GDPR
What You’ll Bring
- 5 + Years IT experience in an IT Operations role, Systems Administration, IAM Administration, Senior Support Engineer, or similar
- 2 or more years previous experience in a similar role providing support for IT Compliance for SOX 404 Audits
- 2 or more years’ experience administering, scoping, documenting and designing ITGCs and advising on adjusting ITSM runbooks and procedures
- Experience conducting User-Access Reviews
- Experience with Auditboard is preferred
- Strong understanding of SOX 404 requirements and compliance requirements
- Familiarity of SEC rules and regulations, and general Information Security best-practices
- Good understanding of Identity Management platforms including Active Directory and general IT infrastructure systems
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead programs and projects providing direction to other team members
- Experienced in making data-driven decisions and working always to continuous improvements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.
Salary Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $90,000 – 110,500 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
