McGee Air Services is looking for an experienced HR Compliance Manager to join our Corporate Human Resources Team based at our World Headquarters in Renton, WA.

The pay band for this role is $78,258 - $117,387 annually.

The Hiring Target for this role is $80,000 - $100,000 annually.

The role of HR Compliance Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing compliance programs and policies related to human resources. The HR Compliance Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the organization adhere to all relevant laws, regulations and internal policies fostering a workplace environment that is ethical, fair, and compliant. In partnership with operational teams, this role uses data to ensure McGee is complaint.

The position reports directly to the Managing Director, Talent & Belonging for McGee Air Services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Stay current on employment laws, regulations, legislative changes and industry best practices to continuously enhance and update compliance programs.
  • Oversee regular internal audits to assess HR practices, policies, and records for compliance.
  • Prepare and coordinate external and internal reporting requirements including EEOC, OFCCP, and AAP reports.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees and managers on compliance policies and practices.
  • Keep employees informed about changes in regulations and the implications to the organization.
  • Develop metrics and apply analytical tools to identify trends and to assess known, corrected, or unknown risks. Develops programs to ensure risks are mitigated.
  • Work closely with legal counsel to address legal issues related to HR practices.
  • Establish and maintain comprehensive records related to HR compliance activities.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all compliance related processes and actions taken.
  • Champions and promotes an engaged, inclusive, equitable, and diverse organizational culture.

  • Performs additional duties as required for the success of the business.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5 years experience in human resources with an emphasis on compliance.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management, business administration, or related field or an additional two years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • 2 years of direct leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and industry standards including EEOC and federal contractor requirements.
  • Proven experience in an HR compliance role in a complex organizational setting.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to travel (approximately 10-20% of time).
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.

PREFERRED

  • Juris Doctor / Law Degree
  • Human resources certification (e.g., SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR).
  • Experience with a unionized workforce.

**This role is an on-site role and requires candidates to either reside or be willing to reside in the Greater Seattle Area.

SALARY DETAILS: The pay range and total target compensation package is the expected pay offered for this position at the start of employment. Pay will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to location, relevant experience level, and skillset while balancing internal equity to other McGee employees.
