Job Description
Experience and Education:
3 years of experience working with CBP documentation required
Must be familiar woth 3461 Form and 7501 Form
Bilingual required
Certifications & Licenses:
Industry related certifications
Computer Skills:
Databaseuser interface
Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Typing skills (40+ WPM)
Job Responsibilities:
- Inputting and transmit shipper export declaration
- Follow up with Haz-Mat & USDA issues
- Prepare IT, IE, TE in-bonds, 7501 entries, withdrawals, 3499, 7512 back forms
- Keep a log of prepared documents
- Input FDA entries
- Represent RL Jones on CBP issues
- Organize and scan all documents into AceSuite so they may be easily identified
- Periodic audit of import documents
- Make sure importers comply with CBP rules & regulations
- Review gas and petroleum, PMI, and Damco reports
- Provide customer service
- Other duties as assigned
- Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system
- Track and Trace shipment files and reporting
- Ensure accurate and timely client and vendor billing
- Ensure delivery of freight and timely clearance when applicable
- Interact with customers in arranging their shipments to meet customers service standards
- Contribute and maintain good relationships with suppliers
- Meet compliance at all times
- Network communications, timely responses to emails and requests
- Meet KPI standards in accordance with Company policy
