Job description

Join our dynamic and growing woman-owned small business, Gibbs Marketing, as we seek an exceptional and motivated individual to fill the role of Call Center Sales Representative. In this position, you will actively contribute to promoting energy efficiency and sustainability by engaging potential customers nationwide and enrolling them in our current programs.

Position Type:

  • Location: Work from home with office-based training for the first 30 days.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage potential customers through phone calls and emails, effectively communicating the advantages of energy efficiency programs.
  • Build rapport and foster relationships with customers by attentively listening to their concerns and addressing them appropriately.
  • Achieve and surpass sales targets by employing effective sales strategies and techniques to drive enrollment in energy efficiency programs.
  • Utilize CRM software to accurately record customer interactions and maintain sales activity records.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and developments, constantly enhancing sales pitches to cater to evolving customer needs.
  • Contribute to team growth and personal development by attending team meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Preferably, a proven track record of success in sales, with experience in meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, enabling you to effectively convey complex concepts to customers.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in various communication tools.
  • Previous experience in the energy efficiency industry is desirable, though not mandatory.
  • A self-motivated individual with a positive attitude, high energy level, and strong drive for success.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly on your feet.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team while also capable of working independently when needed.
  • Having a competitive nature is a significant advantage.

Training:

  • The first 30 days of this role will require in-office training at our headquarters. Afterward, you will transition to a work-from-home arrangement while continuing to receive support and ongoing training remotely.

* Must be able to attend training at our Millersville, Maryland location for the first 30 days and for some in person meetings.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
