Title: Associate I, People Experience Generalist
Location: Dallas, Houston
Role Description:
The Associate I, People Experience Generalist is an important contributor to the Oak Street People Experience (Human Resources) Team. This position is responsible for executing a number of administrative responsibilities to ensure the effectiveness of various Human Resources functions, including but not limited to, HRIS, payroll, recruiting, onboarding, training, general employee relations, etc.
The Associate I, People Experience Generalist role would report directly to the Regional Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) and provide support to the Region, including but not limited to, supporting the Regional HRBP and local team.
Core Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support with the following, but not limited to;
HRIS (Workday) related matters such as completing audit reports and resolving HRIS discrepancies, completing I-9 employment verifications, managing employee certifications, creating supervisory orgs, employee status changes; transfers, correcting/changing job titles or compensation, etc.
Responding to general employee inquiries
Responding to general employment verification inquiries
Supporting the HRBP with administrative related tasks
Scheduling Google calendar items as needed
Employee offboarding such as organizing exit emails, coordinating exit interviews, creating prepaid shipping labels for equipment returns, updating Workday, coordinating bonus repayment where applicable, etc.
Partner and liaison between People Experience central team and local teams
Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory items, including: Federal, State, and local laws and regulations related to the Human Resources function such as FLSA, ADA, Civil Rights Act of 1964, and FMLA
Enhance the level of employee relations support by fostering a high level of employee trust, while providing appropriate support to HRBP.
Provide onboarding and orientation support on a bi-weekly cadence (or as needed) by ensuring new hires have the appropriate information prior to their start date and working with Talent Acquisition to monitor compliance with all pre-boarding policies
Manage employee recognition programs
Provide Talent Development & Analytics support by running routine People metrics/KPI (Key Performance Indicators) reports
Other duties, as assigned
What are we looking for?
1-3 years of HR experience with a specialization in employee relations in a multi-unit, geographically diverse healthcare setting
PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certification preferred
Ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced, high growth environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong Google platform, MS Word & Excel skills
Available to work in a remote environment & support in field as needed
US work authorization
