IDEMIA is seeking a Human Resource (HR) Generalist. Join our global team in a role that will enhance your career! This position will report to the Director, HR Business Partners and encompass a wide range of activities with involvement in all phases of day to day activities. This role will be responsible for implementing and enforcing compliant HR programs and policies encompassing, but not limited to, the following HR responsibilities:
- Performance Management
- HR Compliance
- Employee Relations
- Training and Development
- Employee Engagement
- Succession Planning
- Talent Acquisition & Staffing
- Project Management
- Workers Compensation and Disability
Essential Job Functions include but are not limited to:
- Provide HR advice and council to individual employees, managers and leadership staff to ensure policy and legal compliance
- Take ownership of requests and delegated actions in a swift, professional manner while keeping stakeholders updated
- Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees, hearing and resolving employee grievances and complaints, counseling employee and managers
- Administer company policies related to compensation, benefits, employee relations, training, and health and safety programs
- Manage leaves of absence and workers compensation claims for supported group
- Sustain adherence to the most updated federal, state, and local hiring procedures
- Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency and services performed
- Promote spirit of openness and active listening with associate issues, ideas, and opportunities
- Adopt support role toward all associates in work and benefit related areas
- Complete projects and other duties as assigned by manager
- At least five (5) years of HR experience required
- Two (2) years supporting multi-site and remote employee groups
- Two (2) years supporting manufacturing facilities
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in HR or Business
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to visit and support multiple manufacturing locations
- Ability to support off hour shifts as needed
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced, corporate environment
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Confidentiality is essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office application, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
- Proven experience in coaching, guiding, and mentoring leaders and employees at all levels
