Job Purpose

The purpose of the Human Resources Generalist is to work closely with the Sr. Human Resources Manager along with a complete Human Resources Team assisting with meeting business objectives while providing customer service to our employees within the organization. The Human Resources Generalist will coordinate various Human Resources activities including compensation, labor relations, and retention.

Key Responsibilities

· Sole Human Resources Representative for standalone department of 60 employees

• Be point of contact for associate related issues such as compensation, working conditions, or promotion opportunities
• Provide answers to associates pertaining to questions related to HR policies/standards, changes, and laws/regulations. Escalate issues or concerns to Sr. Human Resources Manager as required
• Work closely with associates and management team to increase productivity, build moral, and improve work relationships
• Maintain associate records related to termination, LOA, transfers, reviews, employment status, disciplinary, and promotions within HRIS systems
• Assist with coordinating and facilitating associate engagement events and meetings
• Assist in developing and implementing necessary associate and management leadership training
• Manage and own new hire orientation for hourly associates
• Cross train for payroll back-up
• Other responsibilities assigned by Senior Human Resources Manager

Qualifications and Experience

· 3 – 5 years of working within Human Resources

· Associates Degree in Business Administration or related field

· Ability to demonstrate good judgement and maintain confidentiality

· Understanding the manufacturing environment

· Proficient communication and organizational skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of HRIS system
• Strong attention to detail and follow through.
• Demonstrates ability to work in an adaptable environment and meet company deadlines
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

• 8 hour shift
