Human Resources Generalist-Bilingual (Spanish)
Do you you have at least three years of prior HR Generalist experience within a Manufacturing company? Must be Bilingual (Spanish). Do you like to engage with employees and build culture? If so, this role is for you! You will be responsible for all aspects of HR for a growing employee owned business. This will include recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations and much more. You will be instrumental in creating an engaged workforce. This position reports to the Corporate HR Director with a dotted line to the Plant Manager.
Here’s how you’ll contribute:
- Create job postings and recruit for open positions ranging from hourly workers to technical and professional personnel
- Deliver employee onboarding and benefit orientation to educate and motivate new employees
- Work closely with temporary staffing services to ensure adequate staffing levels each day, transmit hours weekly, and reconcile and ensure invoices are accurate
- Collaborate with Corporate HR Manager on a daily basis to ensure complete understanding of HR vision and to receive training and guidance on escalating issues.
- Build relationships with employees to understand their needs
- Perform employee maintenance in Paycom and create requested reports to help leadership run the business
- Serve as an advisor on performance issues
- Create workforce communication to increase engagement
- Coach and help Supervisors with performance management and other issues
- Handle day to day employee relations
What we’re looking for:
- 2-3 years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment
- An Associates degree in HR or related field
- Ability to speak and write in both English and Spanish is a must
- A well-rounded background in benefits, compensation, training, employee relations, worker’s compensation and HRIS. Previous experience with Paycom is a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel
- Detail oriented
- Flexible and adaptable nature to work in a continuously evolving environment
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP is preferred but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
