Keches Law Group, P.C. is a well-established, growing, 50 attorney law firm with offices in Milton, Bridgewater, and Worcester, practicing in the areas of workers' compensation, personal injury, medical malpractice, and discrimination.
We are seeking a highly motivated, full-time Human Resources Generalistfor our Bridgewater office.
This is not a remote position, the ideal candidate will split time between Milton and Bridgewater offices.

Duties:
The Human Resources Generalist will play a key role in the daily operations of the People & Culture team, with short and long term goals focused primarily on talent management, on-boarding and off-boarding, employee relations and employee rewards and recognition. This is an opportunity to be part of a small but mighty HR team at one of the largest and fastest growing law firms in New England.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage new hire orientation and ongoing training and development programs, including design, creation, and regular updating
- Partner with Chief People & Culture Officer to design and manage performance appraisal process that will drive high performance and effective channels of feedback and communication
- Play key role in leading talent reviews and succession planning
- Manage employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to managers and employees, resolving conflicts in a fair and consistent manner
- Support efforts to enhance and promote KLG culture initiatives which are intended to foster a positive and inclusive work environment that aligns with our firm mission and values
- Oversee and manage the firm’s employee reward, recognition, and appreciation programs
- Schedule and conduct exit interviews as well as other relevant offboarding tasks
- Manage third party administrator for employee leave including FMLA, PFML, and other Federal and state specific programs
- Provide project support and collaborate with team members on People & Culture Team initiatives
- Other duties as assigned by Chief People & Culture Officer or KLG’s Managing Partner
Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field; PHR or SHRM-CP?preferred
- 8-10 years of Human Resources experience is required
- Solo practitioner experience managing benefits and LOA administration is a plus
- Hands on approach to accomplishing goals with proven track record of balancing strategy and tactics
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Works autonomously and efficiently, and is able to manage ambiguity in a fast-paced environment to see HR projects through to completion
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the Firm
- Strong knowledge of federal and state specific employment laws and regulations
- Proficiency with a variety of HR systems or the ability to quickly learn the firm’s HRIS (Paylocity)
- Possesses and demonstrates exceptional customer service skills and uses good judgment to handle challenging situations
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Communicates verbally and in writing with tact and diplomacy
