Job Summary:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team. The Human Resources Assistant will provide administrative support to the HR department and assist with various HR functions. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the field of Human Resources.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks
- Provide excellent customer service on telephone and in-person to our employees
- Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality
- Filing and maintaining of employee records in file cabinets, binders and online
- Assist with data collection
- Provide support in maintaining compliance with employment laws and regulations
- Assist with workers compensation claims and related documentation
- Providing overall clerical support
Experience:
- Previous experience in an HR administrative role preferred
- Familiarity with HRIS systems, preferable ADP Workforce Now
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, and basic Excel skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
