Job description
HR Assistant’s primary responsibility is to assist the Human Resources Manager with office tasks and human resources duties.
This is a part-time position, Monday through Friday, 9AM to 1PM.
REPORTS TO: Human Resources Manager
SUPERVISES DIRECTLY: N/A
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Basic filing, scheduling, and other general office related duties.
- Maintain the personnel file filing system
- Assist in new-hire process
- Assist in employee benefit administration
- Compile and track payroll, training and benefit information
- Assist in annual employee performance review process
- Consolidate personnel data
- Administer, assist and develop new employee benefit programs
- Assist in compliance programs and monitoring
- Support HR Manager as needed.
- Assist in orientation and training of new employees
- Other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be reliable, trustworthy, and have a positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Must be highly detail oriented and organized
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to act and operate independently
- Proficiency with email and Microsoft Office application, especially Excel
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies.
