Aputure is looking for a HRBP to be responsible for Human Resources in its North American offices. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources and Head of North America at our China headquarters, you will help us build a high-caliber team and enhance the employee experience across the company.
Job Responsibilities:
Human Resources:
- Formulation and implementation of Human Resources policies and procedures for the North American office -
- Develop annual compensation budget for North American offices under the guidance of headquarters policies
- Organize and develop Human Resources-related processes for the North American office
- Build and maintain HR-related documents such as employee handbooks, templates, and other process-related documents
- Answer general employee questions, learn about Aputure's U.S. benefits offerings, and be the point of contact for any troubleshooting and assistance team members may need
- Serve as manager of our PEO/HRIS system
- Manage the benefits renewal process through our PEO/HRIS
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations
- Assist in planning and coordinating employee training and development activities
- Pay attention to employee dynamics and manage employee relations
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes
- Develop and improve our corporate culture
- Assist with annual performance and salary reviews
Recruitment:
- Understand the role and team needs
- Communicate with candidates to coordinate interview schedules
- Establish and maintain relationships with candidates throughout the interview process, communicating in a friendly and professional manner
- Streamline the end-to-end interview process, ensuring efficient progression throughout the interview cycle and resolving any logistical issues that arise
- Communicate with external recruiters to ensure an effective feedback loop on candidate suitability and progress
- Prepare offer letters and ensure payroll and relevant new information are processed by relevant stakeholders (accountants, etc.)
- Coordinate all aspects of onboarding, including scheduling new employee orientation, ordering equipment, providing access to Resources and other details.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of HR and Recruiting experience
- Fluent in written and spoken Mandarin
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) such as Greenhouse
- HRIS/PEO system experience
- Familiar with California employment laws and compliance regulations
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to adapt quickly
Preferred:
- Human Resources Certification or coursework
- Experience in a start-up
- Bachelor's degree in business-related field
Salary: $100,000 base salary plus benefits
