Contract to Hire Position
POSITION SUMMARY:
Perform a variety of Human Resources duties associated with HR administration, onboarding, new hire orientation, employee files, maintaining confidential records, and customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
HRIS:
- Maintain the HRIS including data-entry, access, updates, and reporting.
- Serves as the point of contact with the HRIS vendor.
- Ensures the HRIS system is fully optimized.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, developments, and best practices in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology
- Establish process and procedures to ensure all internal customers are assisted appropriately and in a timely manner.
- Works collaboratively with all administrative departments including QA, Accounting, and IT.
- Communicate proactively to all stakeholders regarding the HRIS and other department information.
Human Resources Operations:
- Maintain standard operating procedures for the Human Resources department.
- Provide initial and on-going training to staff and supervisors.
- Complete on-going and annual reporting requirements for the department as assigned.
- Maintain the Human Resources department SharePoint site.
- Participate in department surveys, audits, and all other hands-on deck activities.
- Recommend improvements to remain in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and accreditation standards.
- Assist with Administration the compensation program; monitors and maintains the 90 day/yearly performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.
- Develops and maintains affirmative action program; files EEO-1 report annually; maintain other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
- Responsible for the preparation of Total Compensation Statements.
- PAF Processing and filing revision and corrections.
- Assist with new employee orientation.
- Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience working with a commercial HRIS; ADP experience preferred.
- Experience in capturing metrics, building reports, and creating dashboards preferred.
- Knowledge of Human Resources practices and employment related laws/regulations.
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software
- Ability to maintain a high level of security and confidentiality of information.
- Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Ability to respond and complete tasks in a timely manner.
