What we are looking for:
We are seeking an enthusiastic team player to join our team as a Payroll and Benefits Administrator. This person will play a vital role in providing exceptional internal customer service by assisting employees with Payroll and Benefits.
Hours for this position are Monday -Friday 8am-5pm
Responsibilities:
- Performing all payroll procedures such as entering automated payroll data, processing employee timecards, preparing journal entries, maintaining employee tax deductions, and monitoring employee data files online including benefits, promotions, and terminations.
- Servicing the day-to-day needs of employee benefits including ESOP and 401(k) plans as well as medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
- Reconciling medical, dental, vision, life, critical illness, and accident insurance bills for the institution.
- Completing quarterly census information for retirement benefits.
- Maintaining employee records.
- Entering attendance information into the computer system.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to deal with confidential information and maintain confidentiality.
- Applicants with a minimum of 1 -2 years of prior human resources and/or payroll experience are preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
