The Human Resource Administrator is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resource function. Specific duties include, but are not limited to part-time, in-office:
Talent Management and Employee Relations:
- Monitors the performance evaluation program and suggests revisions as necessary.
- Add new hires to Paycor system HR
- Administers the review process, to include probationary, annual and intermittent reviews and promotions.
- Administers employee goals and objective development.
- Fields employee complaints And offers counseling or agreed upon procedural steps to address.
- Handles offboarding; conducts exit interviews, collection of assets and Paycor disabling.
- Performs health benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefit information to employees, maintaining Paycor benefits, ERISA audits.
- Solicits and analyzes annual health/dental insurance proposal.
- 401(k) plan administration.
- Manages employee engagement, disciplinary procedures, maintains the confidentiality and well-being of the employees. Acts as a conduit for employee concerns and is a liaison between employee and department head.
- Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in culture and team building.
- Coordinates company teambuilding events such as happy hours, departmental outings, company picnic, Holiday party, etc.
- Facilitates and coordinates benefits for quarterly meetings as needed.
HR Compliance:
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in Human Resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Recommends personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains handbook on policies and procedures.
- Compliance Requirements and Reporting.
- Develops and maintains affirmative action program; files EEO-1 annually; maintains other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations; Regular unemployment reporting and responses; Workers Comp compliance; 5500/401K compliance.
- Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers/scanners and filing cabinets.
Physical Demands
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
Hours
This is a part-time position, in-office position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Travel
- This position may require infrequent field visits, as needed to meet with field staff as necessary
- Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- At least one year of human resource management experience preferred.
- Combination of experience and education would be considered.
- SHRM-CP a plus.
