A stable, privately held company seeks a Payroll Administrator to assist in all aspects of payroll processing, tax, w2, 401K, etc for a staff of 250 employees in 3 states. This position will have excellent benefits, and the ability to work hybrid after training.
Responsibilities, Duties, and Tasks:
- Ensure all Payroll Department deposits are made accurately and timely using payroll software. Scope includes payroll adjustments and deductions, such as garnishment, dues, etc. for bi-weekly payroll and semi-monthly payroll.
- Ensures accurate preparation and balancing of payroll prior to processing direct deposits.
- Preparation of file of tax withholding information, responsible for tax compliance in multiple states.
- Preparation of file of 401k information which you will administer
- Assist in various other HR duties such as benefits administration.
Qualifications, Requirements:
- AS or BS degree preferred but not required
- Minimum 3 years experience with multi-state professional experience
- MS Excel skills required
- Must have multi-state payroll experience
- FPC preferred but not required
- Requires maturity and experience to interface with all levels of management and data processing and software vendors.
