Job description

Job Title: HR Administrator
Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced and highly organized HR Administrator to join our team. The HR Administrator will be responsible for providing support to the Human Resources department, ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day tasks, and assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

Schedule: 8am-4pm Monday-Friday
Hourly Starting Rate: $22.00 per hour

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, preparing interview materials, scheduling interviews, maintaining communications with applicants, and conducting reference checks.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure accurate and up-to-date information in the HR database.
  • Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs for new employees.
  • Assist Sr. HR Generalist on pre- and post-payroll processes (such as timecards and reporting) and benefits administration(such as reconciling insurance invoices).
  • Assist with updating company Culture Guide and other publications.
  • Collaborate with Manager to create and/or edit employee communications.
  • Assist Executives and candidates with scheduling meetings and travel.
  • Manage employee training plan coordination to be audit ready.
  • Assist with budgeting and record retention for HR Department.
  • Manage data from employee surveys.
  • Assist in the organization and execution of company events and team-building activities.
  • Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in an HR/administrative role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, benefits administration, and employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service attitude.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with a wide variety of individuals.
  • Keen attention to detail and the ability to work accurately with multiple interruptions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and payroll processing is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain the highest confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
