Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
• Provide exceptional customer service to our residents and employees, modeling responsive
behaviors to all questions and concerns
• An advocate for fair and equal application of policies and procedures
• Coordinate engagement advisory group in an effort to strengthen the voice of our teams and
enhancing the work environment
• Responsible for the recruitment, i.e., screening resumes, scheduling and conducting interviews,
issuing Drug Screenings and Background Investigations, onboarding and facilitating orientation
• Manage Workers Compensation, WC CARRIER Cinch form submission, follow up with claims
examiner, OSHA log recordkeeping requirements, attending safety meetings, liaison with WC
CARRIER representative, input during quarterly WC CARRIER status calls filing
• Leave and Disability Management-to include LOA, FMLA, STD coordination of all paperwork and
tracking
• Accountable for the completion of day to day transactional items relating to the Human Resource’s
function, i.e., filing, verifications, references, completion of the change of status forms for payroll, and
tracking performance evaluations
• Payroll Administration responsibilities; processing payroll, quarterly payroll base journaling (PBJ),
time sheets preparation, checking daily punches, updating schedules/shifts, approving cards,
running reports, maintaining payroll records for audits (internal & external), and weekly paychecks
distribution
• Monthly LPN/RN/NURSING MANAGERS licensure checks, and NURSING MANAGERS
renewals
• Discusses any problems, needs, or concerns that arise with the Administrator
• Ensures personnel files are in compliance with regulations and that the medical records,
a background investigation and drug screening results are separate from the personnel files
• Serve as point of contact relative to benefits, and support the administration of benefit programs, in
collaboration with Nationals Corporate Benefits Team
• Assist and perform other duties as assigned by the Administrator

• Punctuality is essential
• Knowledge of computer software, ability to perform data entry, and basic office skills;
responsible for remaining proficient in computer skills
• Ability to complete assignments in a timely manner with minimal supervision
• Capacity to understand and operate mechanics of a multi-line telephone/paging system
• Attends in-service educational classes and on-the-job training programs as directed
Requirements
Education and Experience
• Minimum of three years of Human Resource experience.
• Health care experience is preferred.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a college degree preferred.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM - SCP preferred.
