Position Summary:
The Human Resources Manager plays a key role in shaping our organizational culture, is responsible for fostering a positive work environment, managing employee relations, and supporting the organization's strategic goals.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in all aspects of HR management, including employee relations, performance management, training and development, recruitment and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on HR-related matters
- Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and engagement initiatives.
- Manage employee relations, address manager and employee concerns, providing appropriate resolution, conducting investigations, and implementing corrective action when necessary.
- Provide HR Support for company acquisitions and integration.
- Design and deliver training programs to enhance management development and performance.
- Design and enhance employee appreciation and recognition programs.
- Coordinate and conduct performance management processes, including performance reviews and goal setting, providing guidance and support to managers.
- Manage compensation programs, including salary benchmarking, bonus, and incentive programs as well as salary structures. Write and update job descriptions.
- Analyze HR trends and metrics to inform management decisions. Monitor employee satisfaction and devise strategies to enhance workplace morale.
- Manage HR administrative tasks, including maintaining employee records and managing, enhancing, and expanding use of HRIS. UKG knowledge a plus.
- Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with legal requirements and overall business objectives. Provide guidance to management and employees on policy interpretation and application.
- Stay informed about current trends and best practices in HR management and recommend changes or improvements as needed
- Ensure business compliance with labor laws, regulations, and industry standards
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on HR leadership roles.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management roles
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SPHR) is a plus
