Wood is currently recruiting for a HSE Coordinator with experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry.
Skills / Qualifications
- Possess a Driver's license and good driving record.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in health, Fire and Safety, safety Industrial Hygiene (IH) and or occupational (OH) training.
- Working knowledge of safety requirements, including OSHA and DOT regulations
- Working knowledge of the oil and gas industry is preferred, but not required
- Frequent travel to various company sites required
- High proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Power Point
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish good rapport with personnel, management public and customers
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently as directed.
- Assist with Incident Investigations and write investigation reports.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of PPE.
- Follow up and assist with New Employee Orientations.
- Be knowledgeable and enforce compliance with Regulatory requirements (i.e. OSHA, EPA, etc.), as well as company HSE policies and procedures.
- Risk/Hazard Assessments as necessary.
