Salary Range: $25.00 hr - $32.00 hr

- Executes employee payrolls on scheduled dates using ADP (Workforce Now).
- Monitors time reporting system to avoid payroll errors and contacts the responsible parties requesting corrective action when necessary.
- Analyzes and processes documents after examining them for completeness and accuracy.
- Address any payroll-related inquiries or issues from employees and management promptly and professionally.
- Analyze financial records and employee contribution data to identify discrepancies or potential errors in administering all payroll deductions.
- Collaborates with HR and finance departments to maintain accurate employee records and resolve any discrepancies.
- Conduct regular 401(k) plan audits to ensure compliance with federal regulations and internal policies.
- Assisted in all annual HR audits and provided necessary documentation.
- Run custom reports from ADP to appropriate departmental managers.
- Maintain a clean work area and perform work neat and orderly.
- Processes payouts related to bonus and commission or incentive programs according to CA law.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
- 5+ years of experience in payroll and benefits administration.
- Bachelor’s degree/payroll or accounting certification.
- Knowledge of ADP (Workforce Now) and payroll contractual language.
- Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office plus internet functions.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Understand minimum wage laws, confidentiality policies, employee notification requirements, and other regulatory policies.
- Associate degree in an Accounting/Finance discipline preferred.
- Strong aptitude for number analysis and detail-oriented.
