SUMMARY: The Human Resources Specialist - Recruiter works independently in a proactive, high-volume work environment and serves as a partner with hiring managers, teams, colleagues and community resources to effectively support the recruitment and retention of Walkers extraordinary team. The Recruiter is skilled in sourcing techniques, pre-qualifying, screening, recommending, on-boarding, and seeking candidates who exemplify the Walker Core Values: Integrity & Accountability, Passion & Knowledge, Communication & Teamwork, Service & Sales, Performance & Continuous Improvement, and Community & Family. As a knowledgeable partner the recruiter is adept at working with others to form long term relationships, completing site visits to know the content of the jobs. Recruits and hires for representing a broad/deep range of positions in organization. The Recruiter is knowledgeable about state and federal laws/regulations pertinent to the employment function and serves as a knowledgeable ambassador for Walker positions.

EXPERIENCE: Excellent communication skills, ability to prioritize and complete projects within the deadline, professional demeanor demonstrating the utmost respect for confidential and sensitive situations/conversations. Minimum of 5 years in an employee-facing role (ie. Human resources, recruiting, recruiting support, operations, retail, etc.) required. Experience with recruiting and customer-facing service excellence is mandatory.
EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field highly preferred. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, REGISTRATION: Professional in Human Resources, Certified Recruiter, or Society of Human Resource Certified Professional preferred.
