Kimley-Horn, one of Fortune Magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For,” is looking for an HR Operations Specialist to join the corporate Human Resources team in our Raleigh, NC headquarters.
This position is part of the corporate HR Operations team and will provide support to regional HR teams across the firm on a variety of initiatives and projects. The ideal candidate brings project management experience and a passion for process improvement and systems.
This is an in-office position.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Onboarding-related systems and processes, including UKG Pro Onboarding module
- Manage relationships with HR vendors
- Act as project manager for several annual processes, as well as ad hoc projects as they arise
- Develop and co-lead regular trainings for HR on processes and systems
- Maintain database of professional organizations, majors, certifications, etc. in UKG Pro
- Maintain HR document library, providing updates and regular evaluation of effectiveness
- Create new HR resource documents and guides
- Assist with HR data/reporting requests
- Research and bring forth creative & innovative recommendations to identified areas for process improvement
- Answer questions and troubleshoot issues, working in a collaborative manner to find solutions and bring resolution
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
- 2+ years of experience in Human Resources
- Excellent project management, problem solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple assignments concurrently
- Work individually and within a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Office hours are 7:30am – 5:30pm Monday – Thursday and 7:30am – 11:30am Friday.
