- Support the coordination, analyses, discussions and resolutions for various human resource and People Operations conditions, strategies, plans, and procedures for all staff, including the full lifecycle of the employee experience (onboarding, hiring, development, promotion, and offboarding).
- Under the guidance of the HR & People Operations Manager, administer benefits plans, including claims resolution, change reporting, and communicating benefits information to employees; manage the variety of Leave policies and requests (FFCRA, STD & LTD, Parental Leave, FMLA, state specific PFL). Responsible for the integrity of employee data.
- Administers the HRIS human resource information system (Paycor), records and compiles and distributes reports from the database.
- Restructure and optimize SharePoint's HR and TA sections to ensure all documents and materials are appropriately housed, maintained, and accessed, including labor law posters, and updating links.
- Assist payroll processing, new state registration and tax application processes. Manages employee change processes.
- Collaborate and coordinate with the appropriate stakeholders to support operational excellence across the enterprise by:
- Partnering with HR and other stakeholders to investigate, strategize and establish People Operations policies and programs to support them
- Coordinating, communicating, and delivering people-focused SOPs and policies to the other departments, particularly ECCO
- Execute tasks relating to the employee life cycle including offer and change communications, orientation and exit interviews, ensuring they are duly stored and accessible and maintaining their integrity and privacy according to employee data laws and regulations.
- Support the Talent Acquisition by activities and tasks such as candidate and interviewer scheduling, stakeholder follow-up and communications, etc.
- Maintain employee files and ensure changes to benefits and other important programs and initiatives are communicated in a concise and timely manner. Helps implement policies aligning with core principles while recommending changes to current plans and policies to stay abreast with trends and best practices.
- Maintain the organizational chart in SharePoint and contribute to policy updates.
- Remains knowledgeable about and communicates human resources trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and employment law at a regular cadence and applies this knowledge to communicate policy, practice, and resource changes.
- Other duties as needed.
- 3+ years of experience in progressively responsible human resource and/or talent management roles, preferably within a management consulting/professional services context.
- 3+ years supporting people and talent operations, leveraging project management approaches practices, and methodologies.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience resulting in proficiency with technology tools (e.g., HRIS, ATS, LMS, Microsoft Office, including Excel) and willingness to adapt to new technology.
- 3+ years of benefits administration experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of labor legislation, human resource laws, and best practices
PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources of Business Administration
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification
- 1+ years of experience managing the payroll process.
