Description
You as a HR Specialist (Contract) will be part of Hitachi Energy High Voltage Business based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and interviewing prospective employees to find the perfect match. In addition, responsible for the complete cycle of onboarding and help new employees adjust well to our work environment.
Your responsibilities
- Coordinating with hiring managers to identify staffing needs.
- Determining selection criteria.
- Sourcing potential candidates through online channels (e.g., social platforms and professional networks).
- Planning interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews.
- Assessing candidate information, including resumes and contact details, using our Applicant Tracking System.
- Designing job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position's requirements.
- Leading employer branding initiatives.
- Organizing and attending job fairs and recruitment events.
- Fostering long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates in addition to universities and institutions.
- Emailing new hires with details about the company, including parking information, work schedules, and dress codes.
- Welcoming new hires with prepared onboarding kits and an office tour.
- Introducing new hires to their team members.
- Providing new hires with manuals, guidelines, and passwords, as needed.
- Detailing all new hires' initial tasks and answering any queries.
- Ensuring new hires have the necessary technical assistance to set up their hardware and software.
- Gathering and filing all paperwork related to new hires, including contracts and non-disclosure agreements.
- Leading the induction process.

Your background
- A bachelor's degree in human resources management or a related field.
- 2 - 5 years of working experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role.
- Experience in Workday.
- Experience as an onboarding specialist or in a similar HR role.
- Experience with Blue Collar hirings
- Good working knowledge of HR practices and Saudi labor legislation.
- The ability to work with sensitive and confidential information.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English language is required.
