Title: HR PTO Specialist
Status: Full Time
Schedule: Hybrid - Houston, Texas area applicants will only be considered
Salary Range: $55000-$60000; Dependent on Experience

Overview: As an HRPTO, (Paid Time Off), Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and administering all aspects of the company's Paid Time Off program. Your responsibilities will involve maintaining time off plans, overseeing accruals, processing requests, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations. You will serve as a point of contact for employees regarding PTO-related inquiries and provide support to HR personnel and management as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in HR administration, managing time off or leave programs.
- Strong understanding of labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements related to PTO.
- Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in HRIS or other relevant software for managing PTO data.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in HR (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
- UKG UltiPro Experience
- Familiarity with best practices in time off management and employee engagement strategies.
