Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Partner with business leaders to implement the standardization and simplification of HR practices and offerings to increase efficiency.
- Assist with the overall management of the background check program for field and Corporate through partnering with office administrators, maintaining vendor accounts, and evaluating reports in compliance with all state and Federal laws.
- Provide advice, counsel, and follow-up on company programs, policies, procedures, and documentation. Serve as a front-line resource in assisting both employees and management with HR-related questions providing for total customer satisfaction. Frontline support for employee relations in terms of potential issues and investigations, answer questions on policies, leave administration, performance management, and other employee-related concerns.
- Assist in HR projects such as developing training and analyzing data using the Learning Management System (LMS), the collection of employee feedback, conducting climate surveys, and assisting in succession planning.
- Assist HR Manager with investigations by documenting complaints and findings, conducting interviews, reviewing policies, and communicating recommendations.
- Assist with the development of statistics on recruiting, employee activities, and terminations to identify trends and recommend solutions. Complete retention interviews and exit interviews as appropriate. Identify opportunities and areas of concern requiring follow-up.
- Support other functions as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Relevant degree in human resources, organizational development, business administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of human resources experience.
- SHRM-CP/SCP, CCP, CBP preferred
- Strong working knowledge of human resource disciplines including employee relations.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with constantly changing demands. Demonstrated ability to manage and drive to completion of several ongoing projects and commitments.
- Technically savvy with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with Peoplesoft preferred.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills. Able to drive change and facilitate internal communication processes. Demonstrated coaching/consulting and conflict resolution skills. Must possess the capacity to quickly build collaborative relationships. Able to effectively influence and manage crucial conversations with key stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented, service-oriented, and results-oriented. Must have a high sense of urgency and customer service focus. Strong focus on service delivery to internal customers while supporting alignment with the broader organization. Must build and develop relationships and be able to absorb and translate others' statements into objective responses and actions.
- Must be able to travel per business needs.
- Bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish strongly desired.
