Job Description: As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive HR support to multiple locations. You will play a crucial role in implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs to support the company's objectives and ensure effective and efficient HR operations.
Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations: Build and maintain positive employee relations by acting as a point of contact for employee inquiries, addressing concerns, and resolving conflicts. Provide guidance and support to employees and management in all HR-related matters.
- Recruitment and Selection: Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and execute effective recruitment strategies. Conduct interviews, evaluate candidates, and facilitate the onboarding process for new employees.
- HR Policies and Procedures: Implement and enforce company HR policies, procedures, and practices in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Ensure consistency and fairness in policy interpretation and application.
- Performance Management: Assist in the design and implementation of performance management processes, including goal setting, performance appraisals, and employee development plans. Provide guidance and coaching to managers on performance-related issues.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs, coordinate training programs, and deliver training sessions to enhance employee skills and knowledge. Promote a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Compensation and Benefits: Support compensation and benefits administration, including job evaluations, salary surveys, and employee benefit programs. Provide guidance to employees on compensation-related matters.
- HR Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies. Stay updated on changes in employment laws and HR best practices, and proactively communicate updates and changes to relevant stakeholders.
- HR Reporting and Analysis: Generate HR reports and metrics to track key HR indicators, such as employee turnover, performance, and training effectiveness. Analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.
- Office Administration: Duties may include job scheduling, COIs, and travel bookings.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR) is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of HR experience, with a focus on employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and HR compliance.
- Knowledge: Solid understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations. Familiarity with HRIS systems and proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization. Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
- Problem-Solving: Proven ability to analyze complex HR issues, identify solutions, and make sound decisions. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Team Player: Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Proven ability to build relationships and establish credibility with employees and management.
- Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism.
