The Role: HR Generalist PS ATL
The Human Resource Generalist provides support to PS ATL in the functional areas of operations, accounting, finance, employment coordination, employee onboarding and overall employee relations.
Responsibilities & Expectations
• Manage employee onboarding/offboarding lifecycle.
• Facilitate and support interactive processes with employees seeking reasonable accommodation.
• Support with drafting disciplinary process and corrective actions with talking points, when vital.
• Submit IT tickets for all new hires and assist with any HR inquiries.
• Responsible for managing and processing bi-weekly payrolls for all salaried and hourly employees in PS ATL.
• Responsible for auditing and importing timecard records from the timekeeping system and resolving errors in ADP.
• Responsible for resolving employee questions and concerns about employment matters.
• Maintain detailed files for Employee Relations cases with a timely recording of notes and supporting documentation.
• Record accurate and detailed meeting notes on investigations.
• Assist handbook revision (Supplemental handbook for Georgia), policy changes, and enhancements based on investigation outcomes and trends.
• Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and security of Employee Data and Record retention.
• Coordinates all pre-employment screening and assists HR Recruiter for ATL new hires.
• Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
• Administers E-Verify for ATL employees.
• Identify risks and challenges to the employee relationship in ATL team.
• Conduct Exit interviews and assist with Benefits inquiries.
• DE&I training courses assign, assist.
Requirement
• A Minimum 5 years of HR/Payroll/Benefits experience in Georgia.
• High level of professionalism, and integrity with ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Strong oral and written communication skills. Must be able to interpret complex problems and articulate in an effective manner.
• Knowledge of federal and state employment law and regulations, specifically, FLSA, FMLA, and ADA laws and regulations.
• Ability to work with diverse work groups and foster teamwork.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• HRIS - ADP experience required.
• PHR or HR certification preferred.
