JOB SUMMARY:
The HR Coordinator is responsible for executing critical projects related to the company’s human resources information systems (HRIS), benefits administration, recruiting and compensation, training and development, performance management, payroll accounting, data entry, and other key HR initiatives and compliance areas, and providing direct support to the HR Manager. The HR Coordinator serves as a key member of the company’s internal HR business unit and works collaboratively with Human Resource (HR) partners and vendors to support areas and strategic initiatives including HRIS, labor law compliance, company HR policies and procedures, team member engagement, and other critical functions. The HR Coordinator will help construct, adhere to, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), processes, guidelines, project management, and mission-critical communications related to HR for DWX and its innovation hubs. This position serves an important role in ensuring helpful and clear communications, project transparency related to key initiatives, and effective customer service to team members, vendors, and stakeholders across the organization. The HR Coordinator will manage day to day HR benefits, recruiting, training, and payroll responsibilities at direction from the HR Manager that may include sensitive information. The role is responsible for diligently reviewing information with keen attention to detail and communicating summaries, issues, and opportunities for improvement quickly and clearly. The position works in a supporting and collaborative team environment and in support of colleagues at HQ and across the company’s several innovation hubs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Support the HR Manager and DWX employees through administrative aspects of HR functions including benefits administration, recruitment and employee compensation, performance management, training and development, and payroll
- Handle sensitive information and material with objectivity and care
- Ethically and accurately review enter data and information
- Diligently review and update information, data, and materials
- Report issues or concerns objectively and immediately to the HR Manager
- Document, correct, and communicate data, information, and materials
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
- Accurately schedule the necessary resources to ensure timely execution of HR projects and smooth operation of assigned tasks and projects
- Identify, communicate, and execute assigned tasks and initiatives to support the smooth functioning of company HR systems and priorities
- Ensure any deliverables and their subsequent quality is understood and effectively measured
- Provide ad hoc and routine reports to the HR Manager, COO, DWX executive team, and other stakeholders as directed
- Effectively communicate (both written and oral) with stakeholders
- Be comfortable in learning new business procedures and processes, company processes, and government software systems
- Pull and update accurate reports and information from Unanet and company HRIS
- Maintain and document DWX corporate standards of policies, procedures, guidelines, workflows, and training as needed
NON-ESSENTIAL, BUT DESIRED ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:
- Participate in and identify opportunities for the analysis and development of process improvements
- Participate in discussions with DWX HQ and stakeholders on requirements, propose solutions and/or develop experimentation goals and timelines to reach their desired outcome
- Assist with leveraging relationships across the enterprise
- Mentor interns and new team members across the enterprise as directed

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: BA or BS from a regionally accredited university in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field or a commensurate combination of education, training, and experience
Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience or a commensurate combination of education, training, and experience
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Comfort and the ability to develop proficiency in key software relevant to the role, HRIS (BambooHR), Unanet, Smartsheet, SweetProcess, Domo, and other business software
- Demonstrated diligence and attention to detail and accuracy
- Must be willing and able to work in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment
- U.S. Citizenship required
