Maintenance Coordinator (Lead)-3rd Shift
Starting Rate: $29.00/hour + shift differential
Must be able to work weekends and overtime.
QUALIFICATIONS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
MUST HAVE STRONG UNDERSTANDING AND WORKING KNOWLEDGE
(OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE) OF ALL PROCESSING, PACKAGING AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT. (EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE ON COMPLEX PRODUCTION EQUIPMENT WILL BE CONSIDERED.)
MUST HAVE UNDERSTANDING AND KNOWLEDGE OF ELECTRIC
CIRCUITRY, ELECTRICAL AND PNEUMATIC SCHEMATICS, EQUIPMENT PRINTS, AND FACILITY MAINTENANCE.
TRAINING SKILLS REQUIRED. MUST HAVE EFFECTIVE TROUBLESHOOTING SKILLS AND REPAIR TECHNIQUES FOR ELECTRICAL, MECHANCIAL AND PNEUMATIC EQUIPMENT AS THEY RELATE TO FACILITIES AND PROCESS AND PACKAGING EQUIPMENT. HAVE BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF WATER TESTING AND TREATMENT AS IT RELATES TO BOILERS, CLOSED LOOPS AND INDUSTRIAL WASTE PRE-TREATMENT. MUST HAVE ADVANCED KNOWLEDGE OF ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS, SPECIFY AND ORDER CABLING AND OTHER COMPONENTS, READ ELECTRIAL SCHEMATICS, DESIGN AND DRAW ELECTRICAL SCHEMATICS, WIRING DIAGRAMS, AND LADDER DIAGRAMS. EFFECTIVE LEADERSHIP SKILLS AS DEMONSTRATED BY CURRENT OR PAST WORK EXPERIENCE. FAMILIAR WITH ELECTRICAL CONTROL CABINET BUILDING AND METHODS INCLUDING DESIGN, ORDERING OF MATERIALS AND COMPONENTS, LAYOUT, INSTALLATION AND WIRING. MUST HAVE GOOD UNDERSTANDING OF ROBOTIC EQUIPMENT, PLCs, INDUSTRIAL NETWORKING AND RELATED COMPONENTS AND EQUIPMENT WITH THE ABILITY TO PROGRAM THE SAME. MUST HAVE BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF BOILERS, AIR COMPRESSORS, REFRIGERATION, HEATING VENTILATION AND AIR CONDITIONING EQUIPMENT. HAVE UNDERSTANDING OF BASIC MACHINE SHOP SKILLS. PROFICIENT AT INSTALLING ELECTRICAL CONDUITS AND WIRING IN INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS AND FOLLOWS LOCAL AND NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODES. PERFORMS MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS TO PLANT DATA HIGHWAY SYSTEM. FOLLOWS ALL GMP'S AND SAFETY GUIDELINES. HAVE PERSONAL TOOLS REQUIRED TO PERFORM JOB DUTIES. OVERTIME/SHIFT FLEXIBILITY. ACCURATELY FILLS OUT ALL REQUIRED PAPERWORK.
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
Troubleshoots and repairs all plant equipment; performs PM programs; performs facilities maintenance; carries out equipment installation work; draws schematics; builds and installs electrical control cabinets for new machines or upgrades to existing machines; installs electrical conduits and wiring to machines and facilities equipment; programs PLCs, robots and other equipment as necessary; maintains industrial network and other systems as required; rebuilds and assembles packaging and other plant equipment; fabricates and welds when necessary; coordinate and work with outside vendors and contractors on projects; coordinate all essential functions related to projects to completion; provide all necessary documentation (i.e. blue prints, schematics, manuals and electronic media, etc.) related to new or altered equipment to the maintenance planner; provide necessary training and documentation when required.
