Boca Raton General Purpose
To provide day-to-day support and assistance as it relates to my clients Human Resource Administration and overall HR department's goals and objectives. Handle day-to-day first line HR Admin related functions, questions and issues.
Key Duties
- Acts as initial point of contact to associates and supervisors in providing directive and ushering to appropriate business partners.
- Performs general clerical, administrative duties such as scheduling, provisioning, report generation, meeting notes, etc.
- Provides assistance and presentations to team members as needed.
- Assists in the coordination of employee events, training and meetings.
- Ensures and maintains accurate information as it relates to employee files in UKG/Ultipro
- Maintains personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
- Review and maintain I9 verification.
- Processes personnel action forms and ensures proper approvals; disseminates approved forms.
- Properly manage departmental invoices and purchases to ensure timely payment.
- Acts as first point of contact for assisting associates with benefits questions.
- Responsible for facilitating new hire enrollment meetings.
- Prepares employee separation notices, severance agreements and related documentation, including exit interviews for HR leaders. Participate in and or conduct terminations and/or exit interviews as needed. Serves as point person for terminated employees.
- Manages the anniversary/service award programs and other employee recognition programs including the company's circle award program.
- Participates in or leads special HR projects and other duties as assigned.
Experience & Requisite Skills
- High School Diploma/GED or relevant years of experience with a minimum of 2 years in HR related field. Bachelor's Degree A+
- Knowledge of HR regulations and compliance laws and policies is a plus.
- Excellent organizational, communication and administrative skills.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel, UKG/UltiPro, and Microsoft Outlook.
- Ability to work independently in an environment where interruptions are routine and frequent.
- Ability to maintain confidential information is a must.
