SCHEDULE -
Monday - Friday between 8:00am - 5:00pm
SALARY RATE -
Pay Rate: $29 - $29 / hour
IDEAL CANDIDATE -
- Proficient in using HRIS software and other relevant tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiar with recruitment processes, including posting jobs, screening, resumes and coordinating interviews.
- Strong attention to details in managing HR records, documentation and data entry.
- Proactive in addressing potential HR challenges before they escalate.
- Works collaboratively with HR team and other departments.
- Enthusiastic about continuous learning and professional development in the HR field.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -
- Manages employee electronic & HRIS files.
- Tracks and maintains employee training records in HRIS system.
- Assist with TimeKeeping responsibilities.
- Assist with claim management, ensure completion of all incident/accident investigation reports, update internal reports, and OSHA logs.
- Maintain safety training meetings and records in company data base and HRIS system
- Facilitate communication with employees through the maintenance of HRIS system, bulletin boards, frequently updated electronic postings (i.e., television monitors), and other resources available.
- Assist with the organization of company events and recognition programs
- Supports recruitment efforts as needed
- Provide general administrative support to all Human Resources department
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE -
- 2 years of experience supporting an HR department
- Strong knowledge of state and federal employment laws and practices.
- Technically sound in Human Resources fundamentals and best practices and the application of them.
- Broad knowledge of safety, training and development, employee relations, performance management, and organizational planning.
- Strong knowledge and working experience with Human Resources Information Systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs.
