This position will provide administrative and project support to the Manufacturing HR Business Partner within the Human Resources team based in the Evansville, Indiana Office. This role performs a variety of highly diverse and complex administrative and HR project-oriented duties, including but not limited to:
Job Responsibilities
- Manage the employee timekeeping system for Evansville Supply Chain (ESC) operations including but not limited to reviewing and making corrections to time entries, partnering with payroll for corrections to employees payments, training employees and managers on roles/responsibilities of timekeeping system.
- Manage the leave of absence (short term disability, FMLA, Maternity) administrative process for ESC with our vendor and HR system ensuring that employee's time away from work is entered appropriately.
- Partnering with HR Manager to support on-going and project based work.
- Act as point of contact for employees for basic policy and HR questions.
- Independently able to assimilate information from a variety of sources to help manage
- Handle sensitive and confidential information while demonstrating considerable use of tact, diplomacy, discretion and sound judgment.
- Utilize the HR Information System, ADP E-timekeeping and other internal systems for data entry and extraction to prepare reports, complete transactional work, etc.
- Other related duties as assigned/requested including back up and cross training for other HR team members.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree strongly preferred in Business Administration/Management or Human Resources. Experience with Human Resource function is strongly desired.
- Experience working with and managing metrics is required.
- Demonstrated ability to interact and support all employee levels.
- Prior experience using, managing and reporting on data within HR Information
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and Power Point is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion is mandatory.
- Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills are necessary in dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to adjust to changing priorities, work and manage projects independently, take initiative, be a problem solver, and function well as a team member is required.
- Experience with timekeeping or payroll strongly preferred.
