HR Business Partner to SSC (Swedish Space Corporation) USA

YOUR ROLE
As an HRBP for our U.S. operations, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the employee journey for approximately 50 employees, including engineers, service delivery and sales team. Reporting to the HR manager Global Business, based in Sweden, you will be a member of our global HR team as well as the US team. As the sole HR representative in the United States, responsible for implementing our global HR processes and ensuring a local adaptation when needed. This requires a hands-on approach and the ability to go from strategic to operational and solution oriented.
Your role involves supporting managers and employees, locally and globally, as we work together to attract, develop, and retain our valued team members. One of the main tasks will be to drive recruitment and onboarding. In addition to that, you will cover a broad range of HR processes such as employee relations, performance management, and compliance with U.S. labor laws. The role also involves some administrative tasks related to these processes. You will ensure that our organizational values are integrated into our workplace culture, supporting our mission to help earth benefit from space.
WHO YOU ARE
Seniority and experience: With solid experience in HR, and recruitment in particular, you are comfortable taking initiatives and working independently, yet you thrive when collaborating in an international HR team.
Expertise in U.S. Labor Law: You possess a deep understanding of American employment regulations and are adept at navigating the legal landscape to ensure company compliance.
Mission-Driven: Your work is guided by a passion for our mission and the space industry, with a commitment to embodying our core values in all HR practices.
International Mindset: Experience working in or with international teams, preferably with connections to headquarters in a different country, is highly valued. Your ability to manage cross-cultural dynamics and maintain strong communication with colleagues around the globe will be crucial.
Team Player and Leader: While capable of operating independently in the U.S., you are also an effective team member within our global HR organization, demonstrating leadership, and the ability to take initiatives and manage multiple priorities.
YOU ALSO BRING:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business & Economics or equivalent.
- At least 5 years’ experience from developing and running recruitment processes.
- Previous experience as an HRBP or HR Manager.
- Fluency in English.
