The HR Business Partner adds value to the Palace Entertainment family by delivering trusted guidance and support for a wide variety of HR-related subjects. This role directly supports approximately 50 employees at the Park Support Center in Homestead, Pennsylvania, while also providing indirect support to approximately 23 operating locations throughout the US and Australia. The ideal candidate for this position will possess a true passion for supporting employees throughout the entire employment life cycle, while also maintaining focus on compliance, data integrity, and professionalism.

Park Support Center - HR Business Partner
Roles & Responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serves as a subject matter expert for a variety of HR functions, including - but not limited to - compensation, benefits, and leave of absence; performance and talent management; training and development; and policy & procedure administration.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, park employees, Park Support Center employees, and leadership, escalating complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate channels in a timely manner.
- Assists the Manager, People & Organization with recruiting efforts for the Park Support Center, including the posting of job requisitions, pre-screening activities, and interviews.
- Assists with entering employment-related transactions into Workday system, including promotions, terminations, compensation adjustments, and timeclock adjustments.
- Participates in employee disciplinary meetings, investigations, and terminations, as needed.
- Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance for mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
- Assists with onboarding and offboarding activities for employees at the Park Support Center.
- Assists with managing relocation program.
- Processes unemployment claims using Equifax application.
- Processes IT approvals for employment changes.
- Provide administrative support to the Park Support office, as needed.
- Minimal travel to local parks and facilities, as needed.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Related work experience will also be considered.
- At least one year of prior human resource management experience preferred
- SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR preferred

- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
