The Human Resources Business Partner plays a key role within our HR team ensuring business success by supporting department and senior leadership through people strategy and performance initiatives, implementing HR programs and coaching managers at all levels. The position builds partnerships to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.
Position Responsibilities:
- Coach site management/Leadership Development and help managers & employees develop leadership competencies
- Coaching people managers for quality & execution timeliness for HR processes: current issues & solutions, change management & communications support, talent management, performance appraisals, individual development plan execution, employee opinion survey results plus team development plans, performance interventions, exit interview & turnover analysis, and job description development
- Organizational consulting & future planning
- Guides, directs, and supports leaders in performance management and corrective action for progressive discipline up to and including the termination decision-making and approval process.
- Execute local & corporate HR projects/programs effectively & efficiently
- Other duties as assigned to support fellow partners & the business
Education and Experience:
- BA/BS in human resources or related field, MA/MS preferred, or an equivalent combination of education & experience
- 3-5 years of relevant HR experience
- PHR or SPHR certification preferred
- General knowledge of relevant employment law, personnel policies & procedures best practices
- HR Systems knowledge & experience
- Communications: written, verbal, presentation. Ability to impact & influence stakeholders
- Analytical skills
- Change management experience
- Organizational development programs execution, including performance appraisal, individual development planning, problem resolution, future planning & organizational development, etc.
- Proven expertise in organizing information & people from across the organization to develop & implement policies & programs to promote positive employee relations & to support core processes to meet or exceed company business goals
- Prior HRBP experience in the pharmaceutical, CDMO and/or manufacturing environments preferred.
Salary: $110,000 - $135,000
Salary range provided per current averages and expectations. The salary and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
