The MUFG Global Corporate and Invest Banking group environment is rich with growth, transformation and Human Resource (HR) activities that will add value to your long-term HR career. We are looking for a “hands-on” Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) who is eager to move to the next level of their HR career. The HRBP will be aligned to a specific internal client group and will be responsible for developing and implementing our client’s People Strategy. You will provide professional HR guidance and support. The HRBP will interact with all levels of leadership and work on a wide variety of human capital initiatives. The HR Business Partner acts as a partner to the line by embedding corporate HR strategy and providing professional HR guidance and support to relevant internal client groups with the objective of adding value to the business.
Major Responsibilities:
Executes all HR cyclical processes partnering with business leaders
Aligns human capital needs with business strategy
Develops clear, actionable steps in support of an overall business strategy
Help business leaders to identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes
Engages, inspires and influences people
Demonstrates knowledge of HR policies and processes
Identifies employee relations issues for resolution by appropriate Employee Relations team members
Supports line managers in forecasting and planning their talent pipeline requirements in line with the function/business strategy
Helps the business unit leader to provide employees with development opportunities, and ensures that they are able to meet current and future performance standards
Develops feedback mechanisms for employees to influence the continuous improvement of HR services and processes
Reviews and benchmarks the internal and external environment to improve HR policies and initiatives
Identifies and drives the communication and sharing of best practices across functions to facilitate continuous improvement
Ensures that a strong leadership and coaching culture permeates the organization
Manages specific projects as required, and participates in functional and cross-functional initiatives
Qualifications:
6-8 years HR experience
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related combination of education and experience desired
Project management experience involving concept development through implementation and measurement stages desired
Ability to influence and build credibility at all levels and establish collaborative working relationships
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and HRIS
Excellent consulting, coaching, facilitation and client management skills
Financial services/corporate banking experience preferred
The typical base pay range for this role is between $110K- $135K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
