We are seeking an experienced human resources Business Partner to join our growing global HR headquarters team to support our Childrens Services Department. In this position, you will play an essential role in establishing and driving CWS talent initiatives forward. The HSPRS HRBP will support workforce management, talent development, performance management, and employee engagement. You will model the organizational values of CWS and will help colleagues to understand and live these values.
This role will work in partnership with assigned local office and national leadership on the full lifecycle of the employee, from attraction/recruitment through separation. Areas of focus include employee onboarding, learning and career development, employee relations/mediation, development and implementation of policies and procedures, office culture establishment and maintenance and overall employee engagement.
- Drive collaboration and development of HR activities, policies, processes, and strategy for your dedicated markets
- Provide HR expertise and coaching to domestic staff on all human resource related matters including but not limited to hiring, termination, policy interpretation, employee relations, employee engagement, learning and organizational development.
- Educate, coach, and partner with supervisors on performance management; identify skills gaps and development needs and ongoing opportunities for continued performance improvement and career development.
- Drive employee engagement activities utilizing tools such as surveys or trainings that establish and support organizational culture.
- Partner with local CWS HR representatives to educate and execute company-wide policies and to align/develop office-specific policies and procedures.
- Maintain a thorough understanding and working knowledge of legal requirements to ensure regulatory compliance and reduce legal risks
- Partner with the CWS Recruitment team to develop recruiting strategy for positions in your dedicated market.
- Spearhead value-added programs in areas of training, development, and career mobility
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience in Human Resources is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or a related area or equivalent experience. Master’s degree is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in the various HR functional areas, especially organization development, change management, and employee relations.
- A deep knowledge of HR programs and practices, including a considerable working knowledge of applicable state and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Must have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work both collectively and independently.
- Experience and fluency with Human Resource Information Systems
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment required.

Preferred Qualifications:
- PHR, SPHR, GPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP certification or advanced degree in HR.
- Proven project management experience with the ability to influence the direction of key initiatives and work with others to guarantee deliverables.
- Experience with US refugee resettlement, refugee protection, or humanitarian relief programs preferred.
