We are recruiting a temporary HR Assistant for a project-based assignment.
This temporary, part-time position is expected to last up to 3 months. The HR Assistant will work up to 25 hours per week, with flexible 8-hour shifts three days a week. The primary responsibilities of this role include assisting the HR team in auditing employee files and transitioning paper records to digital formats for the HR, Finance, and Development departments. Success in this position requires a fundamental understanding of Oregon Labor Laws and Human Resources Administration concepts and prior administrative role experience within HR.
Requirements:- Identify and address any discrepancies or inconsistencies in file content.
- Operate scanning equipment to convert paper documents into digital files.
- Support the transition of paper files into a digital format according to a standardized process.
- Work closely with HR team members to understand specific document requirements and priorities.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of digitized files.
- Categorize files based on predefined criteria, making retrieval easy and systematic.
- This position has access to confidential and private information. Confidentiality and privacy must be observed.
Experience Desired for This Position:
- Associate degree or 2-4 years of relevant experience
- Professional experience: minimum of two years experience working in an office, clerical, or administrative support involving the use of computer data entry and word processing programs.
- 4+ years in human resources desired.
