Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HR Administrator to join our team. The HR Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting various human resources functions, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of HR processes. Responsibilities:
Employee Records Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, attendance, and leave records.
Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and confidentiality standards.
Recruitment Support:
Assist in the recruitment process by coordinating interviews, conducting initial screenings, and maintaining candidate databases.
Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including documentation and orientation.
Benefits Administration:
Support the administration of employee benefits programs.
Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries and facilitate open enrollment processes.
Time and Attendance:
Assist the team in managing time and attendance records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Collaborate with payroll to process accurate and timely payroll transactions.
HR Documentation:
Prepare and maintain HR documentation, including employment contracts, offer letters, and HR policies.
Assist in the development and maintenance of HR-related manuals and guides.
Employee Relations:
Address basic employee inquiries related to HR policies and procedures.
Escalate more complex issues to the HR Manager or relevant HR personnel.
Compliance and Reporting:
Assist in maintaining compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Prepare regular reports on HR metrics and key performance indicators.
Training and Development:
Coordinate training sessions and workshops for employees.
Keep track of employee training records.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an HR Administrator or in a similar HR role.
Knowledge of HR functions, processes, and best practices.
Bi-lingual (Spanish).
Knowledge of mandatory compliance EEO-1, ACA, CA Pay Data.
Knowledge of labor law, familiar with Workers Compensation.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficient in MS Office and HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software. ADP Totalsource experience is a plus.
Discretion and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
