Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator to join our team. The Human Resources Administrator will be responsible for managing various HR functions and supporting the HR department in day-to-day operations. This role requires a strong understanding of human capital management, ADP software, and employment labor laws.
Responsibilities:
-Answer incoming general calls to the main switchboard. Sorts and stamps all incoming mail.
-Assist with recruitment a, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews. Oversees temporary recruitingment and reviews the temps timesheets.
-Serves as a back up to payroll processing. Reivews timesheet to ensure accuracy and maintains related documents. Collloborates with other departments and suppors all aspects of payroll.
-Conducts onboarding of all new hires and facilitates new hire orientaiton for employees and temporary employees. Adminisers I9 forms and compliance using web based system.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Coordinate employee benefits programs and assist employees with benefits-related inquiries.
-Serves as safety coordinator and part of safety committee. Keeps meeting minutes, safety suggestion box, sends out toolbox montly and updates spreadsheets. Administers hearing conversation program.
-Sends out monthly training and ensures training is completed for every department.
-Assist with planning events for employee engagement and employee lunchoens.
- Maintains HR related brochures and labor law posters to ensure compliance.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years proven experience in human resources administration Bachelor's degree preferred.
-Proficient computer skills with Microsoft (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and ADP/HRIS sytems experience preferred.
-Bilingual Spanish preferred.
-Ability to maintain confidentiality.
-Attention to detail and organized.
-Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
-Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
-Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
-Excellent customer service skills.
