We are currently looking for a Helpdesk assistant to join our team. Ideally, Candidates would be new to the field, preferably with a Computer Science degree with an interest in advancing in Network Engineering. Candidates should expect some labor work (moving desks, setting up monitors / desktops). The ability to quickly troubleshoot and resolve issues is a must. Eager to learn all aspects of IT. Open to travel.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Hardware troubleshooting and Software Troubleshooting
Provides end user application support, defines & documents incident scope, uses critical thinking
to analyze problems, identifies root cause, troubleshoots issues to achieve first call resolution or
escalate issues when appropriate.
Desktop / Laptop Configurations and desk setups
Receive and respond to incoming calls, texts, and/or e-mails regarding PC and/or hardware
problems
Perform analysis and diagnosis of complex PC problems for end users, and recommend and
implement solutions
Supervises:
None
Requirements & Skills:
2 years of experience providing Windows and MacOS desktop support to both
technical and nontechnical users.
2 years of experience providing MS: Office support, specifically Outlook and Excel.
A strong interest in IT and are interested in a long term career in systems
A determined problem solver; you enjoy systematically approaching new issues to learn how to
solve them.

Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, or engineering
Experience:
2 years of Experience in: Multiple OS platforms with strong emphasis on Windows
Knowledge in the TCP / IP protocol suite; security architecture; securing and hardening Operating
Systems; Networks; Databases; and Applications.
Salary: 28.85 plus benefits
