Our client is looking for an IT Help DeskSupport Specialist to add to their team near Fort Lauderdale, FL. You will serve as the first point of contact for customers’ technical issues and will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance with desktops, computer systems, software, etc., resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Our client is looking for someone with at least one (1) year of IT technical support or Help Desk experience, skilled with supporting Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and Office 365, and with knowledge of LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, and Domain Controllers principles. Help Desk / IT Support Specialist (1+ yrs exp. req.) Responsibilities
• Provide remote and on-site technical support to customers
• Respond to customer support tickets promptly, escalate tickets as needed
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems
• Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate team or higher-level support staff
• Document all client interactions, technical issues, and resolutions in the ticketing system
• Support set up, configuration, and management of desktops, computer systems, software, etc.
• Provide support and maintenance assistance for Windows Server and Office365
• Communicate effectively with customers via phone and email, responding in a timely fashion
• Explain resolutions, answer questions, and provide professional advice
• Actively collaborate in the development and maintenance of IT support processes
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a high level of client satisfaction
Help Desk / IT Support Specialist (1+ yrs exp. req.) Qualifications
• 1+ years of IT technical support or Help Desk experience required
• Basic troubleshooting experience required
• Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and Office 365 experience required
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, and Domain Controllers principles required
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance required
