Job Title: General Office Clerk, for our International Sales team. This position will transition to a Sales Assistant/Associate title and role.
Shift: 40 hrs/week. Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM set schedule. Must be able to reliably work this set schedule. No nights, weekends, or OT.
About Us: TPS Aviation is a world-wide aircraft parts distributor focused on quality and customer service. We've been in business for 60 years. We are hiring for our International Sales Team. This is not a typical SALES job. We have the customers--- we just need to maintain them. No cold-calling or outside sales.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE: Looking for stable, long-term position. Office experience required. STRONG computer and communication skills are a must. Dependable to be on time every day. Able to focus on repetitive monotonous tasks. Must have great attention to detail. Friendly attitude.
Job Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Heavy volume of data entry of customer quotes, vendor replies and orders
- Maintain and exceed all deadlines given by the customer, in order to increase sales and customer satisfaction
- Sales order processing
- Customer service assistance for customer base
- Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, manufacturers, and staff
- Cross-train with other staff members to learn various aspects of the entire process
- Perform other clerical duties as delegated by management
Job Qualifications:
- PC, Microsoft Excel & Outlook experience required. Able to type accurately 50+ WPM.
- Strong ability to problem solve, adapt to changes, think independently, and multitask to balance your workload.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Fluent in English, speaking and writing.
- Excellent phone skills; ability to handle calls in a courteous and professional manner
- Detail-oriented, able to follow directions and learn quickly
- Must work well with others or alone, under minimal supervision
- Must perform well under pressure and deadlines

Pay Range: Set at $20-22/hour, depending on experience. Performance evaluation after 90 days.
