Rapidly growing dental lab located in Temple City, CA, seeks a Data Entry Specialist/ Office Assistant to join our staff. Ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience working in a medical office or environment. We would love to give this opportunity for the individual who will undertake administrative tasks, ensuring the rest of the staff has adequate support to work efficiently.
The Data Entry Specialist/ Office Assistant ensures smooth running of our company’s operations and contributes in driving sustainable growth. The position will require you to come into our office M-F from 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM to perform, but not limited to, the following tasks:
- Handling telephone inquiries and responding to email communications
- Rescheduling appointments with clients
- Verifying and confirming instructions from clients for cases with incomplete information
- Data entry (creates and updates case orders)
- Scanning dental models or impression
- Complete other clerical duties as assigned
- Safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality
Data Entry Specialist/ Office Assistant Qualifications:
- Reliable and has excellent customer service
- Ability to effectively present information to patients, physician, and employees
- Previous experience in a medical office environment preferred
- Strong written/verbal communication and computer (EHR) skills
- Interacts well with people and has excellent social and organizational skills
- Must demonstrate character and integrity in your actions
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Must be able to multi task and adapt in the office setting
- Excellent people skills with an ability to manage multiple short-term tasks and also be able to work well with various teams members including clients and vendors.
- Must be fluent in Microsoft office and the ability to adapt to new system software.
- Knowledge of handling medical records including scanning, faxing and uploading files
- Bi or multi-lingual preferred
- Dependable transportation
- Strong references required
