The UHS Corporate Design and Construction is hiring a Furniture, Fixture & Equipment Project Coordinatorto provide support to the department by assisting with timely and accurate communication, coordination, analysis and assistance to the Furniture, Fixtures and Medical Equipment (FF&E) project teams.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Working closely with the FF&E team to execute projects from initial budgeting thru closeout.
- Assisting UHS Equipment Planners on all coordinating efforts to ensure timely ordering as well as follow-up as it pertains to capital purchased medical equipment and furniture for projects.
- In this role, the coordinator will collaborate closely with the vendors, customers, D&C Project Managers, and UHS purchasing departments in all phases of the project execution.
- The coordinator will assist in generating quotes into McKesson for purchase orders and follow-up on all orders and delivery delays that may influence the project.
- The coordinator will participate in select project meeting to help coordinate the implementation efforts.
- Assist in timely and effective communication and documentation of all aspects of the projects from team meeting, share drives, S drive, budget reporting, project closeout activities and database management.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or 2 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of commodity/vendor management expertise required.
- Knowledge of healthcare / clinical capital equipment and furniture.
- Effective interpersonal skills to interface with a broad range of end users and vendors.
- Ability to interpret verbal and written information and instructions.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint required.
- Ability to work under strict time constrains and to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to solve problems and work as part of a team.
